The Rockblok is Rutland's premier Outdoor Adventure Centre. Located on the north shore of Rutland Water near the village of Whitwell. At the Rockblok we specialize in providing challenging and exciting experiences in a safe, friendly environment. The 8 metre high, outdoor climbing and abseil tower, has routes for novice and experienced climbers. The High Ropes Adventure Course provides an aerial challenge to test your nerves. As part of Rutland Cycling we also offer a wide range of climb, high ropes and bike package deals. The Rockblok has all you need for an enjoyable, challenging day out.

We cater for all ages including families, birthday parties, school/youth groups and corporate events. You can simply drop-in for a taster session or pre-book. As a guide our minimum age is 5, adults are very welcome and there is no upper age limit!

Rutland Water is one of the largest man-made reservoirs in Europe. The nearest towns are Oakham and Stamford. Set in 3,100 acres of countryside, the reservoir offers something for everyone in a beautiful, peaceful environment. There is a 25-mile circular track for walking and cycling. Rutland Water has an international reputation for sailing, trout fishing and bird watching and all these activities are open to day visitors.
